On 5 November 2010, as an effort to participate in helping out the Merapi victims of Yogyakarta, 7Langit ( in collaboration with Jalin Merapi (the Merapi Perimeter Information Network)) released a simple application which provides updated information on the state of the disaster victims, what they need, actions being implemented to relieve their distress, and the contact details of the Rescue Team on stand by at certain locations within the perimeter.  That application was dubbed Jalin Merapi.
